By accessing or using Bento Start at seventyseven.net/bento ("the app"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the app.

Description of Service

Bento Start is a free, browser-based personal dashboard that lets you organize links, widgets, and shortcuts into a customizable bento-grid layout. All data is stored locally in your browser. No account registration is required. The app is provided as-is, free of charge, for personal use.

Acceptable Use

You agree to use Bento Start only for lawful, personal purposes. You may not:

• • Use the app to store, distribute, or link to illegal, harmful, or infringing content.
• • Attempt to reverse-engineer, modify, or exploit the app in ways that could harm other users or the service.
• • Misrepresent the app or its affiliation with any third-party service or brand.

Intellectual Property

The Bento Start interface, design, and source code are the property of WJY Studios. All rights reserved. You retain full ownership of the personal content you enter into the dashboard (names, links, titles). We claim no rights over your data.

Third-Party Links & Services

Bento Start allows you to save and open links to external websites. We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or availability of any third-party sites. Links to external services (Google Search, Google Maps, Wikipedia, etc.) are provided for convenience and do not constitute an endorsement.

Disclaimer of Warranties

Bento Start is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, freedom from bugs, or suitability for any particular purpose. Because all data is stored in your browser's local storage, we are not responsible for data loss resulting from browser updates, cleared storage, or device changes.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, WJY Studios shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of or inability to use Bento Start, including but not limited to loss of data or disruption of service.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Service as the app evolves. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect any changes. Continued use of the app after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes arising from use of Bento Start shall be resolved in accordance with applicable law.
