THE B-SIDE
Beyond my love of design...
My love of computers
My first computer was a hand-me-down from my cousin Tom.
It was an Atari, which was somewhat uncommon at the time. The system came with a few games stored in its ROM, but I didn’t really know how to use it beyond playing the games.
I attempted to write my first computer game on it by following a program published in the kids magazine for 3-2-1 Contact. I couldn’t have been more than 9 years old at the time. I forget what the program was supposed to do, but I remember pecking away at the keyboard for what felt like an hour, meticulously copying every line of code. And when everything was said and done, it didn’t even compile. 🤦♂️
Robots and Toys
If you know me, then you know that I love anime-inspired robots and mecha. My first love was Robotech, but my fascination continued with Gundam, Evangelion, Patlabor, and beyond.
Schoolin' da kids in MOBA.
I play all kinds of games, but my main games of choice are mobile MOBAs. If you are a good player, you can find me on the battlefield of Mobile Legends.
Ride or Die
The Thrill of the Throttle
The feeling of racing down the freeway on a motorcycle is the closest I’ve gotten to the exhilaration of skydiving while still being on the ground.
Seeing the world through my lens
I’ve been shooting casually over the past 16 years. I used to take all of my photos with a DSLR, but nowadays, I’m mostly snapping pictures with just my smartphone.
