As an experience design director, I have led a variety of innovation and design sprints for companies, both large and small. I believe in the value and importance of shaping products through not only informed intuition but also rapid prototyping.
My passion is learning through making and design doing. I take particular pleasure in creating prototypes using tools such as a Principle, Axure, InVision or even coded prototypes.
I oversaw the user experience design of this multi-lingual international website that supports the distribution of U.S. cotton around the world. The website was recognized for its usability by the W3 Awards.View Case Study

Nikon Photo Assistant
At Cramer-Krasselt, I oversaw and contributed to digital work delivered for Nikon. One of the projects that we concepted was the UX/UI design of a mobile app for Nikon. The project entailed creating a vision for a mobile app that turns any smartphone into a smart photo assistant to complement the Nikon DSLR camera line.
Service + Learning Design
Between 2014 to 2016, I had the pleasure of being a design instructor, a curriculum director, and lastly, chief product officer at a full-stack design bootcamp that taught students how to be professional designers.
In addition to doing design, I also have a wealth of experience doing front-end development and building websites using WordPress, Expression Engine, among others. In 2014, I collaborated with design firm WSDIA to create an award-winning companion website for Foreign Policy's annual issue celebrating the world's top 100 thinkers.View Case Study

During my time at Discovery Communications, I led design for an internal innovation team that was tasked with incubating new products and services. One of these projects was a content discovery platform designed to inspire curiosity in lifelong learners by aggregating and surfacing the web's best learning content.
When I founded Maven Interactive, I always strove to marry design and technology in new and interesting ways. As a creative technologist, my UI work is distinguished by my love of clean interfaces and unique interaction models. I enjoy pushing the envelope and telling brand stories through both interaction and motion.View Experiments
