As the year winds down, I've started to think about what my resolutions should be for the new year, and so I wanted to start by seeing how I did with my last year's goals. Thankfully, it looks like I accomplished one of my larger goals for the year which was simply to lose 10-20 lbs.
During Christmas of 2008, I weighed myself on my old scale at my parent's place, and I stood in disbelief as I read my weight. I had managed to peak at 160 lbs, the heaviest I had ever been in my entire life. To be sure, I weighed myself again at a local gym to be sure it wasn't an instrument error, and sadly, it verified the previous measurement. I've spent the last 3 months of this year, being particularly focused on weight loss, but I managed to reduce my caloric intake throughout the year so that I now weigh in at 141 lbs. My bmi is back to a healthy range.
Now for my 2010 resolution, I plan to work off another 11 lbs of fat, and further cut my body fat down to 8%. My overarching ambition is to achieve a six pack within the next 6-9 months. I believe this goal is entirely achievable, but it'll be no easy task.
