Out of nowhere tonight, I began to feel incredibly nostalgic for the music of my youth: songs from the 80s and 90s. And after spending some time googling for a list, I found
VH1's top 100 of the 90s and
VH1's top 100 for the 80s.
This reminded me of all of the music that I loved growing up. I remember a mixtape my sister and I made when we were little, and discovered the ability to save radio songs straight to tape. Here's some of the songs we had on it:
- "Eternal Flame" - Bangles
- "If This Is It" - Huey Lewis & the News
- "Power of Love" - Huey Lewis & the News
- "The Longest Time" - Billy Joel
- "Borderline" - Madonna
- "Nothing's Gonna Stop Us Now - Jefferson Starship
- "All My Love" - Led Zeppelin
