My Process

The Method Behind the Madness

I’m a firm believer in an iterative user-centric design process for crafting the perfect user experience.

Through my years of professional experience, I’ve discovered the value and benefit of testing assumptions and learning through prototyping and testing. When it comes to applying user experience to a project, I have found there’s no such thing as a one size fits all solution. UX requires critical thinking about the unique challenges and goals of each project before crafting the best approach. With that said, I have expertise of implementing the following techniques.

  • Research

    To understand the problem space, every project starts with research, whether that’s domain research, user interviews or performing a competitive analysis.

  • Strategy

    Insights are extracted from the gathered research to identify opportunities and lay the groundwork for design.

  • Design

    In order to find the right design solution, a variety of potential visual concepts are explored.

  • Prototype

    Next, prototypes of appropriate fidelity are built to visualize the interaction model in a tangible way.

  • Test

    Finally, the efficacy and
    desirability of the design is evaluated with user testing, analytics, and heuristic analysis.
